Vasilisa Malenkiy

Vasilisa Malenkiy studies physics at Yale University with research interests at the intersection of experimental nuclear, particle, and quantum physics. Vasilisa works with SLAC’s DMQIS and nEXO groups to develop instrumentation for the BeEST experiment, which searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. At Yale, Vasilisa’s research currently focuses on developing precise optical trap loading methods for the SIMPLE experiment - a quantum optomechanical search for dark matter.
