Nico Linton

Science & Engineering Associate, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory

As a Science and Engineering Associate in Fundamental Physics Directorate (FPD) Mechanical Engineering with nearly six years at SLAC, I specialize in solving complex problems and fixing the things that others break. I work across multiple FPD projects and dilution refrigerators, handling everything from R&D detector assembly and engineering to leak checking and installation. My role is often to step in when challenges arise, providing hands-on solutions and consulting to ensure smooth progress. With experience on projects like LSST, Atlas ITK, SCDMS, CMBS-4, DMQIS, and SMF, I take pride in troubleshooting, optimizing systems, and driving projects forward safely.
