Mason Burden

Mason Burden is a Physics PhD student at Stanford University and a member of the DMQIS group under the direction of Shannon Harvey. His research focuses on optical experiments to probe and control spin qubit systems. Mason graduated from the University of Utah in 2025 with dual Honors B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. His prior research involved designing long-distance Raman spectroscopy arrays for cryogenic environments and developing instrumentation to investigate superconductivity under extreme pressure.
