I am a rising senior at Tufts University studying engineering physics with a focus in computer science. This summer I am working with the DMQIS group through the Department of Energy’s SULI program. The focus of my research is KIPMs (kinetic inductance phonon mediated detectors) and understanding their energy resolution using LED calibration. In addition to taking measurements, I have worked on exploring different analysis methods for best understanding the sensitivity of these devices. In the future I hope to continue pursuing research in the field of quantum information science with a particular focus on superconducting devices and quantum sensing.
